Title: Apple Nut Squares+

1		Egg
1/2	c	Flour
1/4	ts	Salt
1/2	c	Nutmeats, chopped
3/4	c	Sugar
1	ts	Baking powder
1	ts	Vanilla
1	c	Apple, minced

Beat egg and sugar together. Sift and add flour, baking powder and salt. Add the remaining ingredients. Mix well. Bake in an 8" x 8" buttered pan, 350 degrees, 30 minutes.

Serve warm with whipped or ice cream.
